1 MICHELIN STAR CHEF
JUN LEE

After graduating from Kyunghee University with a major in Culinary Arts, Korean Chef Jun Lee then attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York, during which he also worked at the 3-star Michelin restaurant Per Se to further advance his knowledge of cuisine art. In 2010, he became an opening member of the One Michelin Star Italian restaurant Lincoln, together with Per Se’s head chef Jonathan Benno.

Chef Lee then returned to Seoul and operated a series of pop-up restaurants. He opened his own restaurant SOIGNÉ in 2015, which holds one Michelin star since 2016. Chef Jun Lee’s cooking style also reflects his vast international experiences by infusing French, Italian, and American technique and flavour into the structure of Korean cuisine.
