This master class offers participants a unique opportunity to meet Francis Belin, Christie’s President Asia Pacific, in a casual and private lunch. Guests can ask Francis questions about his work at Christie’s, one of the world’s most renowned auction houses. With his extensive experience in the field, Francis Belin will also share insights with art enthusiasts about how to build an art collection.

FRANCIS BELIN

Francis Belin is a collector and an expert in art collection. He currently works in Hong Kong as Christie’s Asia Pacific President.

Francis Belin joined Christie’s after 16 years of experience in premium and luxury consumer goods, with his last position overlooking Swarovski’s activities in Asia Pacific. Francis started his career in Management Consulting at McKinsey & Co in Europe and Asia. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for Kids Earth Fund in Japan, and serves on various boards as Non-executive Chairman and Independent Non-executive Director.
2 MICHELIN STAR CHEF
GAETANO TROVATO

Chef Gaetano Trovato is the chef and owner of Arnolfo Restaurant. At age 26, he was awarded the first of two Michelin stars. During his tenure, Gaetano and Arnolfo Restaurant have both received numerous awards, including three Luigi Veronelli stars, Gambero Rosso Emerging chef, Outstanding Chef from the L’Espresso Guide, Michelin stars and three forks in the Gambero Rosso guide.

Starting his career as an apprentice in Saint-Moritz in Switzerland, he went on to work with some of the best chefs in Europe: at Locanda dell’Angelo in Ameglia on the north-west coast of Italy, training under Angelo Paracucchi, then with Roger Vergé at Le Moulin de Mougins in Paris, and lastly, with the legendary pastry chef Gaston Lenôtre.
